Request for Manual Review / Reset of Rejected SAM 3 Access
Hello Meta SAM 3 Team,
My access request for facebook/sam3 was recently rejected. I would like to kindly request a manual review, or a reset of my access request so that I can resubmit it if any information was incomplete or unclear.
I am a visiting student/researcher at University Hospital Balgrist / University of Zurich (ROCS), working on non-commercial academic research in medical image and surgical image segmentation. I plan to use SAM 3 locally to evaluate prompt-based segmentation on the public CholecSeg8k dataset and to study its image segmentation pipeline.
The model will be used only for academic research and experimentation. I will comply with the SAM 3 license, Meta policies, and Hugging Face terms, and I will not redistribute the model weights.
